The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and can shut on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the subsequent requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a home by using a combined gross home earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic revenue would not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and wish not post any proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 check here for each annum.
